“Maccaferri Futura is a boat that goes beyond mere competition. Fast, light, and sustainable, it also represents a research platform to monitor the health of our oceans. Bringing such an important message to the race is a great responsibility for me.”

Edoardo Bianchi, CEO of Sangiorgio Marine, emphasized the importance of this new Evolution version of the Musa 40:
“With Maccaferri Futura, we further optimized an already successful project, thanks to technical modifications that improve performance and versatility. Luca Rosetti is the ideal partner to push this boat to the maximum.”

“With Luca, we share values and vision. For over 140 years, we have been innovating to protect the environment and communities. Maccaferri Futura is an important step towards a more sustainable future.”
Ready for the debut in the Mediterranean
The sporting baptism of Maccaferri Futura is set for May 19, with the Paprec 600 Saint-Tropez regatta, a 600-mile challenge through the most fascinating waters of the western Mediterranean. In double-handed with Rosetti, boat captain Yaël Poupon will face the competition, testing the boat in real conditions against the best European skippers.
After this trial, the team will move to Lorient, in Brittany, to tackle the next stages of the international Class 40 circuit.
